The Final Fantasy Mega Thread - Now playing FFXVSo supertasting also affects your taste in games? Please link me to this post.
Oh I misread your original post. I apologize for my supertaster insult. I thought you were saying 'fuck you' to people hating on FFXV.
Bah, must not be for everyone unless you had to actually buy a PSVR game from PSN. I got a PSVR during the big sale last year and played some Skyrim, Until Dawn (PS+), and RE7 (disc) on it before deciding I hate VR in its current state. Would have been nice if they'd sent me one since Resonance of Fate is probably the last thing I'll buy digital this year and it finally showed up on the store this morning, and $35 is a bit much to ask for a minimal-effort remaster. If you registered a PSVR and/or maybe bought a PSVR game PSN sent an email out today, "Go PS VR its your birthday" and enclosed is a $10 coupon code (no minimum) good for 7 days. $10 free from PSN, noice
Hopefully the PS5 has a far better disk subsystem, even the Pro with SATA-3 is still bottlenecked to the point where a SSD is barely an upgrade over a SSHD.I'm basically done with this gen, might grab some jrpg or whatever if they release only on PS4 but most of them nowadays release on PC too. I have an old brick noisy PS4 with its slow as fuck loading times and I just can't be bothered playing anything on it. At this point I just hope the PS5 is backward compatible so I'll just buy God of War/RDR2/Horizon Dawn in a few years to play on the PS5 instead. I'll put a SSD in this bitch if they don't launch with one too, loading times are so fucking bad on HDDs it makes playing everything a chore.

Firstl power off your console.
To turn on the PS4 into Safe mode, Press and Hold down the power button on the front of the PS4, until the console beeps twice (once immediately, then another after a few seconds of holding)
Connect your Dual Shock remote via USB cable.
Press the PS button on the controller to pair devices.
Go to option “5. Rebuild Database” and press X
“The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database” will be displayed, Select OK.
The screen will go blank whilst the Database is being rebuilt and this could take a few hours depending on the amount of saved content.
When the Rebuild has finished the console will return to the sign in screen.
The rebuild is now complete. None of your installed games or features will be affected, but inside your Database and memory will now be a lot cleaner.
I'm not looking forward to the jet engine volume of my PS4 Pro while I play RDR2.
Something is wrong with your numbers I think, unless there are non-square pixels in there.Actually they are different resolutions but not by much. UHD is typical 16:9 at 3840x2160. 4k is 16:10 4096x2160. Only really matters in the non consumer world I suppose for local content sharing in businesses.
The math response was due to your use of 16:10 which is quite clearly not 1.9:1 and no one thinks you are actually talking about 3840 x 2400.It's the difference between Cinema/Professional 4k and UHD (Consumer 4k). And really, just goes to the aspect ratio. Most if not all film is shot in true 4k HD with a 16:10 aspect ratio. (1.9:1)
While consumer 4k displays are 16:9. Hence the lower horizontal resolution. (1.78:1)
Sorry couldn't help it.
Rtings has a review for it in case you didn't see it: TCL S Series 4k 2017 S405 Review (43S405, 49S405, 55S405, 65S405) - RTINGS.com
The input lag is pretty good. Do you plan on using it in a well lit room? The crappy brightness could be a problem if you do. Can't say if you'll be happy with it, but it's not bad at all for that price point.
moderately lit room I guess?
