Wii U is nothing more than a standard Wii with stronger hardware to support higher resolution and realistic graphics. It isn't "next gen" at all. Nintendo stayed on their schedule to remain a generation behind the big boys.

Xenogears/saga/blade all great games. Glad to see they are still making them.
From what i have read, the CPU is less powerful than even the PS360 but the GPU is more powerful and has much newer technology (Tessellation etc). It also appears to be a complete bitch to port PS360 games to it, with pretty much now hope of porting anything designed exclusively for the PS4 or Xbone.
From everything ive read, it does fine with any GPU heavy games but the CPU bottleneck hurts a lot of games.
Ug I was hoping Nintendo would make my decision to get a 3DS easy. Now I need to figure out if I want a 3DS or a Vita.

3DS is already dirt cheap, its the Vita that needs to go down in price.
No idea why anyone considers Nintendo hurting, they sell so many games from just their first party its ridic. Windwaker, Smash, Mario, Mario Kart, new DK. All games that will sell tons. 3DS is still thriving, my kid spends every cent he earns on the Nintendo eshop and I doubt mine is the only one.

That's probably just a default pricing Amazon enters when they're not sure... i hope.
99% certain those are just placeholder prices. Price it high for pre-orders then drop it. Can't accept pre-orders then jack it up.

Looks like they fixed it. Last night, it was all $99.99 except for systems other than those two.
I'd prefer the bundle as few things as possible. I want a cheap system and I can buy the stuff I need. That was one of the issues with the PS3 was they gave so many bells and whistles on the system like the backwards compat and all those fucking card readers that it kept increasing the price. If they bundled in a wireless kbm it would increase the system by, at minimum, 50 bucks.
