Because there was no one in there talking about xbox they could all jump on to.
I really hope we get some solid numbers for the bet, going to be very interesting to see how far off some people were, some people seemed to really underestimate both systems.
I own neither and why would I? Everything I want to play can be played on the PC. Though its amusing to watch people act so fanatically, both defensively and offensively over something they no real connection too.

Wasn't this game supposed to be a bit lame in the end? A bit tedious as in 'secrets everywhere but arrows pointing at them' tedious?

Part of the "fun" of console wars are the rabid fanboys on either side of the argument. Reminds me of my school days with the Nintendo vs. Sega arguments. Now those were epic.
I still think I'll get an XBone one day for their exclusives. But it won't be any time soon and it won't be until there are some severe price cuts (down to $300 or so). Right now the only exclusive that XBone has going for it is Titanfall and that's only if you really care about multiplayer FPS. I'm not going to argue that this isn't a large cross section of gaming, but it's one that doesn't appeal to me as much these days. Like I said, I actually play Call of Duty for the solo campaigns (I'm weird like that). And that's one of the big reasons Titanfall doesn't interest me. It's multiplayer only. Even the campaign is multiplayer.
But as I've said quite a few times, the PS4 exclusives are much more appealing to me than yet another 1st/3rd person shooter exclusive such as Halo or Gears of War. Not that those are bad games, but they don't appeal to me nearly as much today as they did 10 years ago.

Probably, but it would be more productive - drama tends to inspire entertainment while reducing productivity.
Angel: Mostly in the same boat with XB1 here - i.e. part of my "FPS centric isn't a good business model" stuff earlier was out of personal desire - I know I'll eventually see something that justifies a XB1 for myself (DVR controls alone even without games might do it, frankly - I love the concept of the controls once they're refined - but not being able to control my TiVo with it makes it half-assed) - so I want to see a healthy varied library for both, since I'm not a multiplayer focused person, I like to burn through single player games.

Sean, did you pick this up? Had a lot of fun with inFamous and kind wanting to keep the momentum going with the PS4. Enjoyed the previous Dynasty Warriors. Main concern is with it being $60 and thinking it looks like one of those that would be a great $40 purchase or so and would likely go on sale / be available used quickly.
