Extremely tempted to hop on that, but they are obviously pushing out stock for the incoming holiday bundles... I know price just dropped in Japan, but what is realistically expected here? $350 or $300? Doesn't seem like holiday bundles can be much better than that. Practically $300 if you actually want Destiny.

$350 with a game is realistic, which is basically what Amazon and Target are getting a head start on now if you want to spend another $50 there for a game/second controller/random unrelated shit. No way in hell they go all the way to $300 in a single drop, you're looking at another year+ for that to happen. That Best Buy deal isn't bad either, if you want the ugly console with the bad game and don't want to spend an extra $50 on Amazon credit right away.

for october if you have a best buy credit card you get 10% back in reward points, so you'll get back another $35 that way too. too bad i own digital destiny, its a pretty nice bunduru

So I've had Xbox Gold for a long time. Does it work the same as Ps4 for the Gold games that I can "tag" them to my account even though I don't have an Xbox right now? I just "bought" Tomb Raider, and so it looks to be. Just double checking. Thanks!

yes, xbox gold works just like PS+ you can "buy" them on the webstore and download them much, much later. you can even "buy" 360 games and play them with BC mode, if its on the BC list (which is growing) which is far superior to PS+

Yeah, be sure to grab the games with gold 360 games. For the rest of the year at least they are all BC games.

Currently fighting with Microsoft chat customer service, because back in 2012 my wife got me 4000 microsoft points, and I never used them. Then they converted points to dollars, but my balance is still $0.00. Never bought anything. I want them to tell me what I spent it on, or what happened to my money. They are having a hard time telling me this.

If they can't tell me anything, then it's my fault. 3 years after the fact and all.

I believe they expired after a year post-conversion at some point - I seem to recall that being in one of their spam emails I got for the low balance I was carrying on mine. (like $10 or less)

I ended up having to go but the last thing the person said was $53 expired on June 1st of this year. That lines up with a year after conversion like you are saying. That's a bunch of bs.

It asked me when I went to pick out my free games in the store(on the console, the app worked fine).

Didn't ask me for the same on my PS3.
