Missed the prime day bundle, but I did get one at best buy this weekend. Spent about $500 and walked out with a ps4, far cry 4, blood borne, batman, the new DBZ game, and the silver headset is being shipped to me b/c they were out (came free with the system).

DBZ is fun as hell, but it feels like this thing downloads stuff super slow compared to almost any other device I have.

The DNS trick does work and can help speeds. Takes a bit for it for speed to wind up but I'v consistently done much better using the Google DNS than automatic.

for me, my ps4 downloads at full speed (100 mbs) when in sleep mode and downloads at a crawl when its on - LAN cable. dunno why, i just assume it throttles download when its on to prevent lag in any game you might be playing. so if I'm downloading a big game and I wanna play right away I just put it into sleep mode, and within 30 minutes its almost always fully downloaded.

you of course need to have on the option to download while in sleep mode, but i'm pretty sure thats default

Yea, not been relevant for me either since the move - old house I had the lag, but didn't know of the fix before it, not sure if it would've helped.

xbox one BC really makes things interesting, I sorta wanna grab RDR for 360 but they haven't yet announced if its going to run on the xbox one, although its the #1 voted game. i don't have a 360 anymore, just a xbone

i already finished noire on PC long ago, lovely game its a bummer the devs went bankrupt and shut down

I've been hoping so long for a RDR remaster but yeah it looks like its never gonna happen

almost at the end of god of war 3 remastered, its grown on me and would recommend to anyone who didn't play on last gen. Its weird going back to a fixed camera game after so many open world games in the past few years, but yeah I missed out all the big-monster PS3/360 games like God of War and Gears and stuff, you don't really see too many of those kinda games right on on next gen. Still, I enjoyed a lot more Wolfenstein TNO (just finished recently) than God of War, so I hope we don't see a return to that camera style of gaming.

dishonored for ps4 (and prob xbone) is only $20 if you already own the ps3 version of dishonored. the ps3 version i guess was part of PS+ in the past year, so if you added it to your library during that time it'll be $20. i have the full version on my pc so gonna pass for now, but not a bad price for a good game. comes out aug 24

Awesome, still need to play it, and looks almost the same price as the DLC for the upgrade w/ DLC that way.

I enjoyed the game. Its nothing super special and certainly wasn't challenging but I really enjoyed playing that game. I might even pick it up again on PS4.
