Heh, cool wife has been wanting to replace it (and P3E or whatever the Vita version is called) and just got my $15 credit from last month... seems like kismet, thanks for the heads up.

We'd had P4 as a physical copy we traded in and P3 is on her PS3 account while the Vita is tied to my PS4 account.

P3P is the one I was thinking of (and not on sale ATM - debating it at $20 for her, but probably wait for a sale since it's not on ATM) - but P4G was another she wanted - if they sounded like I was talking about one game, I wasn't.

Oh I read that as "or P3E or whatever" instead of "and". And yeah weird they're only doing a sale on one of them. Goes on sale every 4-6months though I feel like, so shouldn't have to wait too long.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but does anybody use a PS4 with an HDMI switch? I've now tried two powered HDMI switches to try and switch between my PS4 and DishTV tuner/DVR and they both works for a few input changes, but eventually all I get is a black screen when I change between HDMI inputs. To get it working again I literally have to power everything down and reconnect all the cables.

PS4 is very picky about the HDMI cables that you use with it in my experience. I've had no switch problems but only used one brand - but being that switches have a length of HDMI to them, I'd expect the finickiness to effect them too.

I use the HDMI switch in my soundbar for ps4/xbone/PC, sometimes the PS4 stops showing anything on screen and I have to power cycle the soundbar. Never had a problem with xbone or PC, just ps4. Yeah I'd check the cables, I got good 9 foot ones from monoprice and use only them now, bought like 10 in one order.

That's a shame, was thinking about getting an HDmi switch. I might just get a nice onkyo receiver instead. My Sony one is so old it doesn't support hdmi

Eh, the one I got was a cheapie and works - I'll see if Amazon still has the listing for it... still do -Amazon.com: eForCity 3 PORT HDMI SWITCHER SPLITTER SWITCH FOR HDTV 1080P High Speed HDMI Specification: Electronics

It's just that you apparently need to be selective on cables and such. It's not a cost issue or anything, just some work and some don't - NFC what the guts of a HDMI that would make some different would be though.
