Just saying if you're gonna go console, fully embrace the game padYou can do it with this:
Amazon.com: IOGEAR KeyMander Controller Emulator for use with Game Console (GE1337P): Computers Accessories
You will have to do the customization yourself. Witcher 3 (I own both versions - I play the PS4 version because I enjoy it on my big screen with controller and home theater sound) looks good on PS4. Noodle said it is an under-powered PC and yeah it is, but that isn't the point since you will get this bundle as a gift. Realize that more and more games are cross platform developed as you know, with less and less emphasis on truly outstanding PC graphical titles. You can still notice the differences between high powered rigs and resolution updates between the two platforms, but my PS4 gets more use than my PC and my PC isn't anything to scoff at. (i5 2500k OC'd to 4.5 ghz, 8 Gb Ram, GTX 770 video card).
You will also have access to some good games you should really try out, and are cheap now.
The Last of Us
God of War 3 Remastered
Until Dawn
Alien Isolation
Witcher 3 (Which you said you will get)
Uncharted Remastered
Upcoming Uncharted 4
Journey
Bloodborne
I own this, the Wii U, Xbone, PC, Gameboy 3DS, Vita, PS3 (Used now for streaming mostly)
The PS4 gets a LOT of use.
Best to get used to it early.Fucking lame. Got an Uncharted bundle and the right d-pad on the DS4 is screwed up. Have to press it hard for it to register.

I've had 2 replacement controllers - only had build issues with my first. (And mind you I dropped it on tile floors a bunch of times first when it comes to the trigger damage)Best to get used to it early.
In 6 months you'll have to buy thumbstick covers because you'll notice the rubber start to wear away on the stock ones. Then, 6 months later, your R2 trigger is going to start to stick and totally shit the bed.
It is known.
I played a lot of shitstiny when it first came out, guess I just got luckyWell, no noodle the PS4 stock controllers are pretty poorly made.
You can really see it if you played a lot of Destiny. I've been through a couple controllers. Everything from the Vibration mode to buttons malfunctioning.
I wish they would make an elite controller for the PS4, just for the added functionality of the skuff buttons.
