i'd rather play bloodborne, last of us, GTA5, witcher 3, blops 3, destiny, uncharted, tomb raider, rocksmith, syndicate, fallout 4, etc over mario kart, splatoon, or mario maker but as you say many of those games are on PC but I'd still rather play on PS4 over PC especially multiplayer games, no worries about cheaters or hackers. If VR takes off though I could see switching back to PC as main gaming system, if Oculus/Vive are far superior solutions to PSVR.

yeah the NX's problem is gonna be that if you already own a wii u, you are gonna feel a little burned (especially if NX is backwards compatible) and if you don't own a wii u, I'm not sure how big an incentive there is to buy one. guess we'll find out. given Nintendo's pretty dismal ever-decreasing engineering achievements, I would expect a system that is below a PS4 in power, completely random in its devkit which means no 3d party will even bother jumping on board. Also all the NX rumors coming out now have got to put a big damper on Wii U sales this year.

Well if it's backwards compatible, I would probably buy one so I can play the Wii U games without having to buy a Wii U. Eventually. Maybe. Thing is I have so much backlog lately I don't really care that much though.

And yeah my comparison was purely based on my own tastes. Most of the PS stuff I don't care about, especially multiplayer stuff. And since a large part of the stuff also gets released on PC, I don't have an incentive to buy them on PS4, as I'm more comfortable playing on PC in general. I also don't like couch gaming either. That said, good PS4 shit is coming, for my tastes. FFXV and Persona 5 mostly. Although I assume both will also come to PC(at the very least FF), but much later. Odin's Sphere remake, Danganronpa 3 and probably a bunch more stuff.

Anyway main point is, it's probably too early to call the NX garbage. I mean it might very well end up being garbage, not gonna lie, Nintendo has been on the decline for a while now, at least for house consoles, but who knows. At the very least I'd way for the actual announcement to pronounce it dead. I'd say I'm leaning 70% dead 30% ok, so I'm not optimist either.

brooooooo. do you still play BF4? haven't touched it in a year+. I'd jump on PC if I knew people still playing! So many maps/DLC I got with premium and never touched.

I actually almost bought it for like $215 right around Christmas... Jet.com has like 20% off your first order (max of $50) plus I had some Amex deal which was like $25 off purchase of $50 or more.

They had it for $290 -$50 first time order -$25 Amex special.

Still decided not to pull the trigger.

Speaking of BF4 (I prefer BF over CoD), now that I have finally purchased a PS4, I tried to use my $9.99 upgrade code to upgrade my license from PS3 (and Premium) to PS4 and it wouldn't work.

So, I contacted EA support and after about 30 minute of trying to explain my situation to them, they ask him to take a photo of the outside of the box, with the card with the expired key next to it, with a piece of paper with my name, the date, and the case number written on it, and a Sharpie in my butt. I made that last part up.

After some more consulting with the senior manager, they agree to generate a new key for me. Server error. Please call back tomorrow. Everything is written up. They will generate the key for me then. Well shit.

So I chat them up the next day, 15 minutes later Indian dude tells me that I need to contact PSN. FFS.

Are a lot of people still playing BF4? Not sure I would want to pay $20 for just the non-premium maps and then find out no one is playing.

I went outside after reading this post, and it wasn't raining. The sun came out in the middle of night time, and it was 76 degrees in Minnesota.

My PS4 comes today (Saturday) so, depending on download/update speed, I'll be in Battlefront (and Rocket League) this weekend. Will get some PSN names and junk as I go.

Regime, assuming you're playing BF4 on PS4. More friends playing on console or something? I'd love to play with people but dunno if I want to buy it on PS4 when I already have it + Premium for PC...
