Anyone get their PS4 from Newegg ? I've stayed away from them for a few years now with Amazon Prime and much better return policies. I just wondered if Newegg is decent about replacements if something was wrong with a PS4 (and are they good about packing/shipping ?)

I am right on target. Xbox One sales have come to a screeching halt - with stock everywhere, and no one buying them. It had an initial surge, and will still sell about another million in 3 months.
Sony will catch up to demand in the US and surge up to 6 million in that time frame with another 3-4 million units sold in 3 months once stock shifts to equalize demand.

YOu are not equating the power of friends and friends lists, UT. Yeah we all know PS4 is the better console and all that. But its the friends lists which detirmine what consoles, especially kids want.
I got the PS4 for my kids and thats what they wanted, (greatly in part of me telling them that it was way better) but now they are all bummed because most of their close xbros got the xbone for xmas. They now feel like lepers. Yeah they got the better console but now they are regretting it because all their buddies continue to be xbros.
I told them the sensible thing, make new friends, right? Well most of these xbros were buddies for years now, playing all sorts of games together. Sometimes even buying games just to play together. I too thought that this was all bullshit, but its true, kids and xbros do care about friends lists and its not easily overcome. That type of bond is hard to break. Shit both of them played the shit out of the xbox 360 over the holidays instead of the ps4.
Now im probably going to have to buy them an xbone as well, maybe in the summer when its my younger sons birthday.

seems like its expanded to be much bigger than what gaiki was originally about. Its also two services now, stream older games to anywhere and ALSO stream TV shows/movies (think hulu) even without a cable subscription. I'm a bit skeptical, beyond all the gnarly technical issues (bandwidth, lag, latency, 100% server emulation of old games) there are no doubt going to be licensing issues and such. Will try it out at the sony booth though and see what they are saying about fees and how you can get into the beta.
also if you are a ps+ user be sure to pick up resogun, contrast, and any other ps3/vita games before the store updates today and removes some stuff and adds new stuff.
