The whole thing is a joke but the response to this is hilarious. They literally conclude in lawyerspeak that Brady was exchanging signed memorabilia in exchange for some jackhole calling himself the Deflator to take a needle given to him by the equipment manager and deflate the balls after the officials checked them, and Brady refused to cooperate with them and told them he didn't even know the guy's name, despite trading multiple calls and texts with him in the 12 hours immediately following the game.

A sports ball inflation needle is a device that can be used to inflate a football (if attached to an air pump) or release air from a football (if inserted alone into a ball).
