Oh yeah. That bias doesn't come through at all!
It's very difficult to hide my enthusiasm after being reminded what it looks like when you see a QB play that can move the chains in chunks, picking up 15-20 yard gains all over the place. 2 years of Alex "checkdown" Smith and I'd almost forgotten what that is like.

KC was 28th in the league in Yards Per Completion last year, and 27th the year before that. The only reason we were that high is because Alex could check down to Jamaal Charles and still get 7-8 yards out of a 1 yard pass.

Well yeah 22 is ridiculous, I'm sure that's just a high number so they can negotiate a real number.

Also getting paid that much actually hurts your own team, and the giants are pretty much rebuilding after years of sucking.

Let me tell you, having a checkdown specialist is fine if you can field a top ten D and run game every year and have a dynamic yards after the catch playmaker somewhere. Bonus if your QB has a huge arm and can just chuck it 80 yards and watch the PI flags roll in every few tries.

...

Well, have fun with the Alex Smith Chiefs this year!

49ers WYTSis amazing. Probably my favorite one so far.
I feel like Kirun was part of the 49ers management decisions this year. The team certainly reflects his attitude this year.
I feel like Ray Velcoro looking for clues in some creepy Hollywood sex dungeon. Nothing makes sense, everything is weird, and there is a camera in the corner that captured all the bad shit that went on.

Man, this poor fucker, lol:

My first name is Joe and my middle name is Dwight, I am named after Joe Montana and Dwight Clark, I was born a month after the Super Bowl in 1982. For many years of my life this was a sense of pride and although they are still great players to be named after, I rarely tell people this anymore because being associated with this mess of a franchise is an embarrassment.

Here's how I think they should go. AFC South was an easy fix, swap out the Colts for Dolphins. NFC North and South were good as they were, as was the AFC West. Cowboys to the NFC West makes sense as well. AFC North got a new look however. The current division is fine geographically, but it's also the most logical landing point for the odball out of place teams like Indianapolis and St. Louis.

NFC East

Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles
New York Giants
Cleveland Browns

NFC North

Minnesota Vikings
Detroit Lions
Chicago Bears
Green Bay Packers

NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
New Orleans Saints
Carolina Panthers
Atlanta Falcons

NFC West

Seattle Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers
Arizona Cardinals
Dallas Cowboys

AFC East

Buffalo Bills
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Baltimore Ravens

AFC North

Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals
St. Louis Rams
Indianapolis Colts

AFC South

Jacksonville Jaguars
Miami Dolphins
Houston Texans
Tennessee Titans

AFC West

Oakland Raiders
Kansas City Chiefs
San Diego Chargers
Denver Broncos

Hah, the meat of the article was kind of limited but its the best "hear it from the fans" section yet:

I've read that Washington fans feel like the team will never be good as long as they're alive, since Dan Snyder is only 50 and he's never going to sell.

Jed York is only 35.

How would Dallas make sense in the NFL West? If anything they should be in the NFC South with the Panthers going to the East.

Not that they would ever actually move them, of course.

That list also has teams switching conferences. That seems weird.
That's what the article said is likely to happen with Oak/SD. Fadaar is running with it way more than the LA implication actually allows, but I think he's saying what he feels would make geographical sense. They aren't going to fuck with the NFC east even though its stupid because it has history. Same thing with Miami making more sense in a "south" division, the history of the division matchups trumps any geographical realignment.

The league doesn't care about geography though. They do care about this LA thing and if that means one of those California teams is getting split off from the division or even conference, then that's what they will make happen.

It's cool, RGIII's comments were just taken out of context:

"I know what I meant. I think everyone in this circle [of reporters] knows what I meant," Griffin said. "It's unfortunate that my name keeps getting used for headlines for people to click on stories. I know what I want to be and I know what I strive to be. I'm not going to make any apologies for that."

If they move the Dolphins out of the AFC East I'll be fucking pissed. The trip to Miami in December is the only glimmer of hope in these shitty Boston winters.

Don't worry you can go down there for Sox training camp instead after Brady retires and the whole state inevitably returns to ignoring football.

Meh it was just a list I made out of boredom. But yeah if that LA move happens there'll have to be a reshuffling of the west divisions. Easiest swap would be Arizona and San Diego.

Then again I'm a Bucs fan, so I just live my NFL existence in misery.

Giants Cowboys is some of the highest rated national rivalries for ratings. No way they would change that.

Nothing would make me happier than to see the Dolphins move to the AFC South. Easily winning your division every year while not having to deal with the shit stain fans from that part of the country sounds like football heaven. Watching the Ravens dismantle the rest of that division for years after Brady's ass finally starts seeing invisible attackers would be golden too. Make it happen Fadaar!!

I always thought Indy and Cincy should be in the same division. Cities are only 100 miles apart. But I'm too used to hating Baltimore and it wouldn't be right if they weren't around anymore.

Plus that's one of the only games of the year where the Bengals make Flacco look like he shouldn't even belong in the NFL. It's great.
