the pvp zone? each faction controls like 6 keeps, if you win enough (all?) keeps your side gets to crown an emperor. who does ... stuff...
just like GW2 though its incredibly zergy and whichever side can get a good 24 hour rotation of people coming in will basically win it all. the pvp stuff has a timer, and once your side "wins" all the keeps your side keeps the emperor slot for a while. the maps are massive too, while you can teleport around the keeps you own it still takes like 5 minutes to go on foot from a forward keep to the enemy keep. prob faster on horse. pvp combat is atrocious though, given in pve you have no idea whats really happening its 100x worse in PVP with a big zerg around. way too much PVE in the pvp too, having to take down walls and level 50 npc soldiers (as a level 10, no boosting) and generals and flag caps and shit
just like old school wow AV there are a bunch of stupid PVE quests in the pvp zone too, like "go find my husband!" (who is dead) so its gonna be dumb when your side has the 10 retards who are only in it to get PVE xp. The PVP xp seemed pathetic, in 1 hour I got around 4k xp zerging keeps, basically 1/10th the PVE quest XP. maybe I was doing it wrong though, I was in a 24 man raid group.
