Oh well, we were in the road today anyway. Looked it up, and the McDonald's right by our destination DID have the sauce listed as available. But alas, we made it there at 3pm. They started selling the sauce at 2 and only had *20* packets in the whole store.

Fuck McDonald's.

Holy shit, only 20? I gave up when I saw the line for ours (it's right next to UCF, its not a shock) - there was literally at least 200 people in line outside.

Tried Wingstop for the first time as a result - and quite pleased that we did. Probably hurt the wallet a ton more, but damn good stuff.

Yup, and it was the only McD's in the entire city of Flint, MI to have any, so it's not like they were low balling because of a small market or anything.

Indeed - the fries actually are now on my list of items to bring to the hospital if I've been declared to have a limited timeframe left. They are insanely amazing. Tried Cajun, Louisiana Dry Rub and Hawaiian for our wings - A++, C, and A for my ratings on them.

Lousiana rub are my favorite with honey mustard. They had a Korean BBQ flavor but it was limited.

I don't usually like honey mustard but theirs is so good on the fries and those wings.

I think we've got some left over Louisiana for later today (got a 30 for the woman and I to share) - had grabbed honey mustard for our sauce, since we're not ranch/blue cheese people, so got it on hand already to see if that improves them. A big part of the low score was that they were so dry which dipping would obviously improve, just a question of how much they are still "themselves" after dipping.

Yeah, if they overcook them even Honey Mustard doesn't save them. The same goes for the fries, the first time they give you a bad batch you'll be pissed.

Now I want Wingstop.

I sat around for a while today being to lazy to cook and I didn't really want McDonalds or anything but ended up going to 5 guys and I think they raised their prices again the double cheeseburger is like $8.09 or something stupid. Still shit is fucking delicious.

That's one of the awesome things about 5 Guys though, you get to ruin it however the fuck you want. I go fairly minimal with mine: bacon, lettuce, tomato, and A1.

It's such bullshit that uncrustables come frozen. Why can't they keep them in the refrigerated section instead of the freezers? If you buy them you have to wait FOREVER for them to thaw out.

I believe microwaving for 3-5 sec is the sweet spot my woman found for them.

Nah, even at just 3 seconds, the outside gets warm. I can't stand warm uncrustables. I'd never eat a regular PB&J sandwich with slightly warm bread. They need to be a nice refrigerator temperature.
