BK is good. If you don't like mayo or toppings on your burger, don't go there. Don't be dumb.

McD's rules. If you don't like good, slightly greay, salty tasting food and want to sniff farts, don't go there.

I feel like I almost want to block Noodle in this thread for the same reason I blocked Lithose in literally any other thread. Except Noodle is still a person and even though he's WRONG-G-G, I'll let him speak his mind.

Went to BK last night to c elebrate that I was hungry. Might be the last straw..

I'm ordering and the woman taking my order is super slow and very confused by what I'm saying. I ordered the Bacon King meal and she can't process that I said number 4 or whatever number it is. Had to repeat myself like 3 or 4 times. Then she just says "PULL AHEAD." Without taking my size, what drink I want, or if I want anything else. So I told her there's more. Then she can't understand that I said "large" for the life of her. I added some nuggets and she was like "uhhh ok??"

It was a very confusing interaction, but whatever. I get up there and she just puts out her hand. I knew the total anyways because I'm not a noob, but this lady is fuckin weird. She gives me my food and closes the window and I just sit there. She re-opens the window and I said "I think you forgot my drink" and she literally went "huh, drink???" with this dumbass look on her face. I assume she was high or something. She was also built like a linebacker with chicken legs.

Finally start eating and my soda is a diet. I can't stand diet soda, I'd rather drink piss. Fries are super hot and pretty good. Nuggets are cold. Burger is super cold and unmelted cheese. I was so disappointed.

I used to eat Double QP's a lot 15 or so years ago, but the beef at McDonalds is just such an odd texture to me. I mean, all the fast food places have weird burgers when you think about it. I think BK at least resembles a frozen patty you can buy at Walmart.

Plus I got really sick from McDonalds on a work trip, so it has been ruined.

So really my options here are BK or Wendys but after my latest trip BK is completely cut off anyways.

I love double QPs, I really love them

but let me be clear, they are more of a food product then a burger, the meat is def not normal taste / texture compared to almost any other burger, but I love it for the unique food product it is

I need that grind secret sauce for my home burgers
to achieve a uniform grind, you need a meat grinder.

you can do it in a food processor (or even a blender) in small batches, to avoid over processing it (keeping it in there for so long, it's almost liquified). a meat grinder will not over process, but a weak meat grinder will give you "stringy" burgers.

why? most ppl just use the kitchen aid grinder attachment, cuz everyone has a kitchen aid and it saves space, however the blade (it's like a fan) on it is tiny and the auger is strong, so you kind of end up with the auger (the screw that advances food forward) shoving the meat through, rather than getting processed by the blade. to get a better grind, get a dedicated meat grinder that will have a bigger blade.

but you can, like i said also achieve it using the foodprocessor in small batches, since those blades will destroy anything.

at first i used the food processor, and it worked amazing and i thought maybe the grinder would be better, i ended up having to "double grind" it , as in passing it through twice, so i stick with cuisnart for bugers

Another tip I have is supermarket meat depts will usually grind up steak and shit if you ask

Burger King is shite. Their breakfast foods are all shit because they steam the buns and all texture is terrible. Their service is universally shit. Their food is universally shit.

McDonalds here is better, depending on when you go. If you go on the weekend and the weekend manager is on, nothing is good. The OJ machine is down, the smoothie machine is down, they're out of whatever is special. They just can't cope with anything. But, go during the week, when the regular staff is on, everything is working, the food is all fresh, and it's great.

Wendy's here is pretty good. It's between the two.

The Bacon King is delicious.

I don't eat a lot of fast food and when I do it is Texas/Austin specific like Whataburger/Taco Deli/Torchy's or Austin Java like I mentioned in the last page.

But no I wouldn't ever be such a faggot as to grind up steak just so I can mix it with hamburger to make a superior burger. A burger is a burger for a reason.
