Go a few miles south and get a real pizza. Matambrito de cerdo de pizza. Prime cut of bacon (pork flank with skin on) grilled as a steak, covered with a sauce, cheese and toppings. It's like a pizza, but with bacon instead of bread. The cut is really hard to find in the US.

My favorite pizza place closed down because of Covid. I'm pretty bummed. It was a new york style pizza place that used some fresh toppings. It wasn't very good reheated but it was amazing out of the box fresh.

Last time I tried the CCR it was shit. Cold cheddar cheese with tiny pieces of chicken. Would rather get 2 gyros.

Double Gyros for $6 is definitely a solid Arby's play. I go for it every once and a while and I can pretend because it has lettuce and tomato it's healthy. Pretend hard.

Popeyes is shitty, crispy but flavorless. Biscuits dry. Haven't found a single worthy item and they're expensive.

KFC is lackluster but fries are good.

What state do you live in again? Houston Popeyes is great and have some non-ghetto locations; the newest of which is less than a half mile from my house. In an upscale suburb. It is glorious.

Best Pizza place we have around here is a convenience story called Casey's. And to be honest its better pizza than any of the big chains (Pizza Hut, Dominoes etc). Only problem is that they run out pretty quick so if you are wanting good pizza on the weekends you best go early.

The best local pizza chain in Oklahoma is called Hideaway Pizza and they made the smart move of planting their first few locations in the two major college towns. They would run a special during the football season that said if the local team won then the next day every large pizza would be X% off where X was the point differential between the teams. One fateful day OU beat Texas A&M 77-0 and our group of friends ordered TEN large pizzas for less than 70 bucks. I am talking full on supreme levels of toppings. I will never forget that feast.

I went to Arbys yesterday planning to get two lamb gyros for 6$, but decided to try one of these chicken sammiches. At first glance I was disappointed because there was only 2 chicken strips on it, But Damn it was fucking good. Wayy better than the gyro. Kinda reminded me of the old chicken ranch from Wendys, but somehow even better.

Most of the food in Portsmouth and Middletown is pretty garbage, exception is Becky's BBQ which is way better than it looks.
