I have not been to Detroit, let alone eaten pizza there so I don't have anything to compare it with.
Well was the crust way way more crunchy than a pan crust, or crunchy as a pan crust, I guess?

Everyone's favorite instant ramen noodle? Tricks to elevate?

Mine is Maruchan Yakisoba Korean BBQ noodles. 4 minutes, 500 calories.
Samyang spicy would be my #1 recommendation, but they also make a crapton of varieties that are good like curry or parmesan. Unless you have a tongue/stomach of steel I would avoid the spicy x2 and I think they even have a x3 now too. The x2 made my face go numb.

there are other brands, i only know this brand, it usually sells for 7bucks in a chinese grocer, obviously if you don't have an asian grocer, you pay more with amazon. (prices have actually doubled now, cuz of covid scare too)

slice it thin, you don't need much, maybe like 10 slices (1oz) put it in a pan for a few seconds, then DO NOT drain it, use the grease to cook 1 or 2 eggs.

then add your noodles

this is like Chinese tonkatsu w/o all the prep work.

if you choose to spend more money and actually get better ramen, it'll taste even better.

you can also dice it up for the best fried rice

you don't need much, a little gots a long way since it has a lot of flavor

most important is to refridgerate after opening, or freeze

I stick a 2-3 whole in my rice cooker when I make a pot. Then eat the sausage with the rice and a bit of sweet soy and some sambal.
