If people are buying $7 Mexican Pizzas so much they can't keep up with demand then people are way dumber than I ever thought possible, did Taco Bell recently hire Bobby Kotick or something?
Mexican Pizzas werent even that amazing.

Pro Tip: Just make tostadas at home and double them up.

When I lived in Tampa I lived within walking distance of this place. Menu | TacoSon Mexican Grill | Tampa Bay I do recommend it. Tampa is badass for killer bad food. If you're in the area also hit up Firehouse Grill and Pub (not related to Firehouse Subs) for bomb wings on the cheap.

Mexican pizza have always been pretty dogshit but it's more the new price point than the item itself that is astonishing to me. Two corn tortilla shells, a small amount of refried beans, low grade dogfood beef, and a spritz of shredded cheddar for $7 is criminal but apparently millennials are lapping that shit up, or maybe turbo tard boomers, I am not sure. As others have discussed when shit down restaurants are somehow cheaper alternatives to fast food something is amiss.

Yes a stacked high tostada full of sour cream, beans, meat, lettuce, cheese, and tomato from Taco Son there is $3.75. When I lived there in the 2010s it was like $2.25. I'd get like 4 of them.

I miss that place.

Didn't you know that the economy is the best it's ever been and people have tons of money saved up? Taco Bell should charge 10 bucks.

Publix brought out prime rib roasts for $6.99 again which is a solid price, they also had some pork butt roasts for $.99 a pound. I find myself buying chicken breast and ground hamburger less and less as the prices for them keeps skyrocketing.

When I worked as order taker at Taco Bell, the people that ordered Mexican Pizzas were mostly the people that were intimidated by the Taco Bell menu (lots of stuff with weird names and a lot of it is "spicy" to the average white American) and figured the thing with "pizza" in the name couldn't be too bad. Same customer would get it every time I saw them for months straight. Was pretty clear they didn't even know what most of the shit on the menu tasted like.

Not normally a fan of Goldfish crackers and haven't ever used much Old Bay, but damn the Old Bay Goldfish Crackers are amazing. Sometimes things just work perfectly together.
