Newman's just irritates me...the whole "all the profits go to charity" is just marketing bullshit.
I don't support charities with my money so I really don't care to support them with purchases I make.
And no I don't care about all these charities who need all this money yet the CEOs are making in the millions each year.
Several charities have CEOs earning over $1 million annually. For instance, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research has two executives, Deborah W. Brooks and Todd Sherer, earning $1,404,335 and $1,236,035 respectively in 2023. Additionally, Matt Bershadker at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) earned $1,203,267 in the same year. Other high earners include Laurie Spieler and Purnendu Gupta, M.D., both from Shriners Hospitals for Children, with salaries of $1,111,497 and $1,086,969 respectively. Robert Doar from the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research also earned $1,062,420 in 2023.
In 2022, Christus Health had the highest paid CEO among nonprofits in the U.S., with an estimated salary of $16.21 million.
