Went to Firehouse Subs to get a meatball sub. They were out of meatballs. There was a baseball team eating when we walked in, so I suspect they ate all the meatballs. My night was ruined.

Firehouse is OK but I was seriously unimpressed when I drove out of my way to try it because people were raving about it. I mean, it's basically slightly different [generic chain sub place here]. It wasn't bad but not worth the price premium over Subway. I guess I'm spoiled because near where I work there's a fan-fucking-tastic full service deli that gives you twice the size and quality for the same price as any chain.

Have you done their meatball though? The meatball is their claim to fame - their cold cuts are just cold cuts really.

You sure? They're rather new to me, but all over their windows here are "money back guarantee" on the meatball. Seems odd to do a money back guarantee on a non-claim to fame.

Well I don't know about that. Advertising a money-back guarantee on a particular product just indicates they are trying to promote that product to a market. Maybe Meatbull subs are big in your area. Maybe precisely because everyone usually orders deli meat they are trying to highlight their meatball subs. Furthermore, I've no doubt they offer a money-back guarantee on all their food. Further-furthermore, I'm pretty sure I can get a money-back guarantee on a motherfucking fish filet at McDonalds because almost every chain will give you your money back on your food if it's not up to par.
