Pretty sure on one of the Anthony Bourdain episodes he says that Joel Robuchon uses 1 lb of butter for every 2lbs of potatoes or something insane like that. I've only had them like 3 times at a French restaurant we used to go to in Chicago but they are, as we say in this thread, God tier.

Noodle, get the cheddr peppers with ranch at Sonic. It's really the only reason I go besides the drinks.

The ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito is good as well since they finally changed their salsa.

Supersonic Bacon Cheese Burger
Chili Cheese tots w/ onions & jalapenos
cheddar bites or cheddar peppers(his choice)
Route 44 Cherry Limeade

Then don't eat for the next 2 days to make up for the calories in that meal

I saw somebody ask Alton Brown why their mashed potatoes were not as good as restaurant mashed potatoes and he said something along the lines of "Probably because you would be too ashamed to use as much butter as they do."

Pretty much. I've made this recipe once and it was sickening to look at the bag as I pulled it out of the water bath. Tastes like a pound of butter should though. Delicious.

I'll probably be negged for this but I enjoy mashed cauliflower over potatoes. I can eat a whole plate of it and not feel like I'm a complete piece of shit.

To save myself, today for dinner I had a burger, fries and 3 corn dogs with a beer. I wanted to take a picture for this thread, but I didn't want to be that guy taking photos of his food in a restaurant.

I don't think they have sold cheddar bites for quite awhile now.

I personally think sonic isn't all that bad. Their burgers are decent, their tots are great and so are their drinks. That's a pretty good meal to me

The only thing is I need to not get onions because I don't like them, but this sounds like a solid meal. Also I'm diabetic so you may kill me. Is this meal worth my life?

Alternately, you can do chili cheese tots with jalapenos and sour cream. I usually skip the sour cream because I don't need that extra 200 calories on top of the 3000 I already ingested. You gotta have limits.

You may die. Though personally I would get regular tots, the chili makes them kind of mushy. Otherwise a solid meal suggestion.

Though I usually get cherry-vanilla Coke Zero, but I realize that isn't everyone's jam. Ocean water is pretty good too, basically blue coconut syrup and sprite. It's like a pina colada soda
