Arbys isn't close to me but going to be in the area so gonna get lunch there and load up for dinner too.

I'm thinking a few roast beef sandwiches of course but I'm also wanting to try some of this newer shit ya'll been talking about. Re the pork belly, should I just get the Smokehouse sandwich or should I try the Smoke Mountain one? Is the Gyro really that good? Anything else a must try?

I think there have been many posts about he pork belly and gyro being excellent, I'd give those a shot.

Also, try the cheddar peppers ONLY if they still have the bronco berry sauce.

I had the Daily Double from McD's the other day. It's a McDouble but with mayo, lettuce, onion, and tomato on top. For $2 it was actually really filling. It was a hybrid McDouble/Whopper kind of. I had two of those and a McChicken and I was fucking full. Had a McChicken to put in the fridge for 3 hours later.

Also their $2 menu has the bacon cheddar ranch McChicken which is a nice sandwich, too.

Just tried the BBQ bacon crispy chicken sandwich from McDonalds today on an artisan roll. It's surprisingly really good. I recommend it.

Make sure you get the newer "real" gyro vs just the roast beef one.

Didn't realize or see anything about it on the menu, so got the roast beef. It was meh but I've got a few real gyro places around me.

That pork belly bbq sandwhich is nuts though. Good shit.

Best gyro I've had is actually from street vendor with factory made. All the fancy gyro focused or just greek places seem to suck. I'm partial to them especially if sold as kebaps, the turkish flair seems to make them better.

But yeah, their gyro's if not their seasoned actual sheep I thought are pretty garbage. Their "classic" gyro is pretty damn good. Did you try asking them or just blindly order to avoid being the guy asking dumb questions?



In other mcdonalds news. The thread inspired me to go tonight..... kinda a let down. THe daily double was able to be ordered but is off menu. I started a civil war in the kitchen on how to make it. The bacon whatever value chicken? Not available, it was spicy mcchicken or jump to the $6 artisanal shit.

I love the remodeling theyve done but fuck this newest kick on the artisanal kick. The menu's are harder to read and dont show sizes/prices. Seemingly only will show like one size sometimes 2. In the case of the mcflurry twice I've asked for small/snack size and the receipt just shows "mcflurry" for 2.80.... fucking expensive because the cup sure as shit is tiny. And I thought DQ was bad. Makes me wonder what else has lost size choice.

Despite this one being near a lot of middle and upper middle class, most of the patrons still the typical people of walmart shit. Listening to them order the cheaper stuff and breakfast things I agree with others thoughts they need to focus on what they are good at. Because I know if I'm ordering a $6 burger, it's going to be carls/maybe arbys or more likely a Red Robin or something much better for a couple bucks more.

I went a bit off the rails yesterday and ate a metric fuck ton of junk food, and included in that was a 16-count of honey bbq boneless wings from Pizza Hut. It's been a year or more since I ordered them, but this is what they always used to look like:

However, when I got them, they were just plain breaded/fried wings with the bbq sauce in a container on the side. What the fuck is that? They can't even toss the fucking wings in the sauce now? Is this normal or is my local Pizza Hut just especially shitty? I was tempted to take a picture, but this was halfway through my binge and my phone was in another room so I said fuck it.

I generally don't get anything but straight up buffalo sauce but does a sweet sauce like honey bbq actually taste good with ranch?
