The temperature enhances some elements of the flavor while dulling others - I personally find something that's overly sweet that I normally can't stomach because it's too cloyingly sweet is much more tolerable when frozen. Now that said however, I don't eat it straight out of the freezer, I let it sit out for 10-15 min first to soften a little bit. (Maybe 5 min for stuff like Snickers and Reese's Cups that have a thin chocolate shell - but like Hershey's Miniatures are at least 15 min)

Unless your fridge is faulty, it won't hit the right degree of cold. Fridge is better than room temperature though. But Frozen and par-thawed (not fully thawed) is best.
Hah, yeah I love the marketing on various bars of that size that show you how to twist the wrapper to save it for later. Motherfucker, I bought the large size because I'm gonna eat the whole thing at once, otherwise I'd have bought the smaller one.
