If you can't enjoy McD's breakfasts it is a personal problem.
I used to get it, then they put in a ihop across the street and I can't justify McDonald's breakfast over ihop. Granted I am not driving to work or something so no need to get something "quick".

Never heard of them, but I see they are up in the central Florida. Maybe they'll come south sometime. Chipotle is better? Same stuff?
Slightly different menu. Qdoba has a really, really good taco salad in one of those fried bowls.

They are franchised, so it's possible.

I'm not a super-donutter. I usually have them on Saturdays once or twice a month.
I'm showing my age with this one...

I always kind of thought that donuts were donuts until once I was in Kansas City and went into some mom and pop donut shop on the way to work and holy fuck were those good donuts. They tasted like they had double the fat of a regular donut which they probably did. I guess Saint Louis is the big donut city in Missouri but if that place was typical then they know how the fuck to make donuts in Missouri.

EDIT: Upon further research, it was not a mom and pop shop, it was a chain called LaMar's Donuts. Looks like they are mostly in Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska. They beat the hell out of Dunkin and Krispy Kreme for sure.

Yeah, LaMar's are damn good. Haven't had any for years, so good though.

Say that to the glasses wearing ketchup bottle's face bro, I DARE YA.

Ketchup chips are godlike!

edit: the more i think about it.. the weirder that flavour sounds. Either way, they're damn delicious~
Sitting in the Halifax airport and tried Old Dutch Ketchup, All Dressed, and Roastin' Chicken.

Roastin' Chicken is awesome. I want to smuggle these across the border.

Tim Horton Doughnuts in Canada are best doughnuts. They're less sweet, and have more of a cake-like quality. Even the Tim Hortons in the States (there are a few) aren't the same.

I have 2 different LaMars locations each within 2 miles of my home, in opposite directions. So pretty much no matter which way I leave my home in the morning, I'm driving by one or the other. Cue thisiswhyyourefat.com. They started here in KC like 50 years ago, but have branched out quite a bit in recent years. The original owner, Ray Lamar, died I want to say back in the 90s, and his two sons took over and have done a lot more expanding than Ray ever did.

As for Qdoba vs Chipotle:

I find that Chipotle has higher quality meat, the steak and barbacoa and pork at Chipotle is 2nd to none in the fast food Mexican world. However, Qdoba tries to offset that with variety. Taco salads, awesome spicy nacho cheese sauce, and a lot of other stuff that Chipotle just doesnt have on their menu. So Chipotle wins out for burritos and tacos(and that is all they do) but Qdoba is the better(and really only) choice between the two for quesadillas, nachos, taco salad, etc. Both have their time and place.

I also find that Freebirds(chain from Texas) is most similar to Qdoba. Their meat isn't as good as Chipotle but they have a MUCH bigger menu.

Qdoba has breakfast burritos which are pretty tasty too. Chorizo breakfast burrito is one of the beast breakfast foods you can buy.

And ya, Lamar's is good. There's one in Lee's summit where I grew up and I remember getting donuts like once or twice a month from there. There's a place in Indy called Long's Bakery which is just as good if not better.

Hah, I'm in Lees Summit. Probably hit the same Lamars you did, the one on 291Hwy, just north of 50Hwy. It's about 1 mile from my house, which is evil. There's always a line out the door on the weekends.

I broke my Qdoba cherry today with a burrito bowl. Pinto beans, chicken, and that diablo cheese sauce + other crap.

Pretty good, I'd eat there again, but I'd go for a spicier sauce.

Most of the Qdoba's I've been to in the last year or so also have the Coke Freestyle drink machines. So thats a + for them over Chipotle too. We don't have any Qdoba here in KC though :/

We are seriously lacking some notable chains in Kansas City, such as:
Qdoba
White Castle
Whataburger

Dunkin Donuts have just recently come to the KC area in the last 5-10 years, same with Chick-Fil-A.

I went to Wendy's last night, and I was drawn to the large poster featuring the Pretzel Pub Chicken and Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. I wasstronglyadvised against ordering the Pretzel Pub Chicken, but I ignored the suggestion and got the Pretzel Pub Chicken combo. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The cheese was bland, and the breading on the chicken completely flavorless as well. I immediately regretted my decision.

P.S. Why the fuck do Chick-fil-a and Wendy's refuse to put soda fountains in their establishments? I have to walk up to the counter and beg for a refill like some kind of fast food version of Oliver Twist. I go through 4 - 5 large sodas whenever I'm in a fast food place, and it gets embarrassing having to ask for more over and over.

Sub the chicken filet for a spicy filet in the pub chicken, mixed with that sauce they put on them, and it's fucking amazing. Wtf? You got shitty Wendy's.

Had two Wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches today. I was not impressed. I like Wendy's but it just doesn't stand up to the likes of BK, Wataburger, or McDonalds to me.
