I seriously think I'd risk death if I had the kind of power this pasta pass would grant me.

Wonder if they still let you take home leftovers with that pass :p
From the USA Today interview article"
As for the $100 pass-holder who opts to eat every lunch and dinner at Olive Garden for seven weeks, well, Spenchian says that's no problem at all. ...

For those wondering about leftovers, yes, doggie bags are okay.

Fucking website to buy the pass keeps crashing. I've waited my whole fucking life to be an all-you-can-eat VIP at a pasta restaurant, and I can't fulfill this dream because their site can't handle the load.

I haven't eaten at an Olive Garden in probably 10 years, but back in the day the neverending pasta bowl was ONLY good for pasta and sauce. If you wanted chicken or sausage or meatballs, it was like an extra $2 per bowl that you added it to. I didn't know this at the time, and my goddamn $9.99 endless chicken alfredo ended up costing me like $20 by the time they dinged me for chicken being added over and over again.

Bastards.

It was always an additional charge (used to be $2 as you said, not sure what it is now) but it was unlimited, not per bowlfor meatballs and sausage.Chicken and shrimp could be added but they were a cost per bowl ($2.95 and $4.95, respectively, when I worked there from 2005 - 2009ish).

McCheese, have you ever tried your hand at an eating contest? Not trying to be an ass it's just from the way you speak about this stuff I imagine you would do well in one.

I can put away a ton of food, but I'm not a speed eater. I'd happily take on one of those huge plate challenges, like eating an enormous steak with all the fixin's, but I'd be terrible at an actual eating competition where they shove cold hot dogs down their gullets.

My friends and I used to do a pasta bowl eating competition at Olive Garden. The most I ever managed to eat was the initial bowl and 9 refill bowls (smaller in size than the initial) with a sausage on each one, plus a plate of 9 meatballs.

I can respect this*. A man of pleasure.

Think you could pack away some of the spicy challenges (hotwings etc)? That stuff seems dangerous.

*I once ate 12 tacos at taco bell, 1 pack of hotsauce per taco. They gave me a free set of 10 tacos as a result(this was back in highschool)
