Initially skipped this nun movie because Immaculate had released prior, it was just too soon for another nun movie.

Everyone sort of did the same thing. Was pleasantly surprised by the very high production value. This movie makes it look like they spent maybe 20 bucks filming Immaculate. Hard to make something fresh in the nun horror genre, but this managed it with the directing.

Immaculate should have been the pass-- not this one. Ralph Ineson did his thing.

I dig a good occult flick, so I figured I'd give this a go.

You're right. This one surprised me with the overall production value and how concinving the acting was across the board. The story is familiar and somewhat predictable, but really well executed so I didn't care.

It might be a bit slow paced for some, but there was enough WTF sprinkled throughout to hold my attention.

Giving it a thumbs up, because I'm surprised to like a movie like this in 2024.
