Combine Fast Food and Food Thread into the "Food Thread." Food Thread will be about delicious food. The Cooking Thread will be about cooking delicious food. Seems simple and makes sense, which means it will never happen.

Rename the cooking thread "The Slow Food Thread" since it's all about that slow-ass sous vide shit, and call this "The Medium Food Thread".

Sheesh. Or let this go, and see how things work out all by itself. Food thread, fast food thread, and cooking thread have all had posts in the last day...seems like there's enough interest for all.

Or just bitch about it. You, know, whatever.

It's not a matter of interest. It's quite clear we're all interested in food, cooking, etc. It's a matter of focus. A couple days of a groceries derail in the Fast Food thread doesn't mean we need a thread about groceries. It just means that maybe the titles on the existing discussions need to be updated. Now we get a bunch of similar(or exactly the same) discussions going in 3 different threads.

I'm sure someone would complain if we changed the titles too. This is ReRolled life.

Well, I have no horse in this race, so put this thread wherever you want. So long as you give up your mother's recipe for sweet love making on a hot, Southern afternoon, we're all good.

Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise? I shoot down the middle and use SpinBlend.
honestly I love both bro. It's like this.

Sometimes I am in the mood for a Dr.Pepper and sometimes I am in the mood for some Dew.

If the thread is not useful it will fall down the page just like every other thread that people aren't interested in. Don't worry about it.

I am a Miracle Whip guy. I realize that this makes me white trash but I am okay with that. It has way more flavor than mayo and less calories.

I like SpinBlend because it's not quite as sweet as Miracle Whip, but still has some of the tanginess. I'm like Regine, though, I'll eat whatever I'm in the mood to have.

I can't do Miracle Whip. Too much sweetness for me. I do love me some mayo, though. Dutch folks dip their french fries in mayo instead of ketchup. Canadians add vinegar to their fries. I do both. yum.

sometimes I just want to make a dammed sandwich that does not take a shopping trip and 2 hours to make, so I choose hellmans.

Home made mayo is best mayo.
It really is. Making your own mayo takes the following: canola oil, 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of water, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, minimal salt and pepper. And it takes about a minute and tastes so good.

Premade mayo grosses me out, I don't know why, it is irrational but it does.

Helman's with olive oil is my go to. I don't mind miracle whip, but it has a really strong taste.

My favorite homemade sandwich is two slices of white bread, 3 Kraft singles, and a generous slathering of mayo on each of the slices of bread.

That can't be your favorite homemade sandwich. It can't be. I mean I simply won't allow that to be your favorite.

Wel his name is McCheese, so maybe?

My favorite is thinly sliced oven roasted turkey, thinly sliced black forest ham, swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo on both pieces of fresh hard crust bread.
