Not well known but more impressive winning streaks:

Jahangir Khan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaa winning streak of 555 matches in top level squash during the '80s (unbeaten in competitive play from 81 to 86).

Esther Vergeer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaa winning streak of 470 matches in top level wheelchair tennis (unbeaten in singles from 2003 to 2013).
oh boy... wheel chair tennis... how impressive. next you'll be breaking out facts about some guy who won 60 games in a row of dungeons and dragons.

Taker still wrestles? Glad he lost his streak. Lesnar should have pummeled his ass when Taker was shit talking him after that UFC fight a few years back.

Does this mean Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem are better than all of WWE?

Why isn't this in the sports forum by the way?
because the streak transcends sports... the streak was a part of all of us.

look at the stock market today. people are having trouble finding reason to continue living.

Lesnar rules, hopefully he crushes that little hobbit fuck Daniel Bryan next and we can be back to having a champion who would actually be able to defend himself in a real fight.
Funny, he couldn't defend shit his last 2 UFC fights.

Brock Lesnar is without a doubt the best fighter in WWE. He actually trained as a MMA fighter for 2 years and competed successfully in UFC. And as far as wrestling goes, he had over 100 wins and 5 losses as an NCAA wrestler and won the NCAA heavyweight championship in 2000. All these other guys on the roster went to "Wrestling schools", light on the practical wrestling, heavy on theatrics and showboating.

Put any of those clowns in a ring with him (HHH, CM Punk, Cena (LOL), Orton) and they'd be lucky to last 3 minutes, 2 of which they would spend running around the ring just to avoid grappling with Lesnar.

Having said that, it was stupid to break that streak to a part timer like Lesnar who might be there for another year or two, instead of a workhorse who has been there for several years and helped build the company - someone that Undertaker could help put over so that WWE can start developing a new generation of superstars because their current one sucks and they are still coasting on the coattails of old farts from the 1990s and the Attitude Era.
