I am getting a little overloaded with hotkeys with all the spells and disciplines and shit. Playing a mnk / nec / ench. I guess I need to start making some macros or I've seen people talking about "mash buttons" that I'm assuming you're just assigning a shitload of damage skills to and then pressing over and over for whatever skill is ready at the top of the list? Anyone have an example of this? On the disciplines there's always some /alt advance 447 or something listed at the end. I can't figure out what it is.
The mash bar is making 1 bar, or at least half of it bound to a single key. In the following screenshot, you can see it as a small bar, second to bottom on the left with every bottom bound to two (along with the Dragon punch on 2, on the main bar). For macros, the Discord channel for Zerk/Mnk/Clr has a bunch of macros stickied that you might find applicable.

- Corrected bug which allowed creation of augmented items that were not usable in any slots.
- Syncrosatchels or equivalents will now consider slotted augments to determine which slot an item can be equipped into
- Splinters of Time which are not PRI\SEC\RANGE no longer require slotting into a weapon
- Dispel-type spells cast by players on players or player pets are no longer resistable.
- Dispel-type spells cast by mobs are now resistable.
- Fixed Monk class names display on Character Select
- Sol Ro Tower respawn timers have been fixed.
- Legends of Norrath cards no longer have a self consume clicky effect and have an updated lore.
- Innoruuk and Rallos Zeks adds no longer leash and assist their god
- Aid Grimmel quest npc should be more responsive now.
- The rztwl event in plane of tactics should behave even more as expected, with failure timers removed.
- The Fennin event in plane of fire should now correctly resume when returning to the zone and no longer fails on timeout.

- Mortal Coil is no longer blocked by random clickies
- Villagers in HoHA are now tethered and will not run full marathons.

- Mistakenly remaining GoD and OoW spells have been removed from PoK vendors *and* player spellbooks.

Sucks that rage volley isn't added to autoskill, but I guess it's technically a "discipline/combat ability". So, probably isn't able to be added.

Nice changes. I guess that autoskill thing was a troll.

Yeah, first character is always the bitch because you have no AAexp bonus like you get with all of your alts. So yeah, its a slog. I think I had like 600-700AA when I took my first trip to NTOV and I could not believe how easy everything was. I think most classes start running out of the good AA shit at like 1500AA anyway. Yeah, there is always more AA stuff to pick up but the "core" is done by then. Youre just getting the side scraps at that point. At 2K AA your basically on first page getting run speed buffs and shit.

(Post I wanted to yesterday but got fucked by folgers and got put into a locked room)

playing war/shm/brd, started a month ago, 65 with 1900 AA

kera can be a bit of a challenge if I slack, other then that it is all smooth sailing

brd DDD with the relevant AAA, songblade, amp and clicky, and 618 spell damage, base hit is over 3k and crits a bit over 13k

this is more then enough to be the only source of AE clear you need to get max AA, at this point gathering up pulls takes 5+ minutes, its not important if you nuke them all down in 10 or 20 seconds

manastone really helps reduce downtime at lower level, at higher level rune songs protect you from manastone damage, so it is nearly a 1:1 conversion ratio, which is very solid

Can someone explain what autoskill is and how to use it?
There is a command you use to turn it on, check patch notes. And what this will do is auto backstab, kick, whatever combat skills your classes have. this is NOT for discs or AA. Just core combat skills. So for you, it will be auto backstab when timer is up.

Can someone explain what autoskill is and how to use it?
Most of the melee classes have 2-3 spam click abillities like Kick, Bash, Backstab, Frenzy, etc. Autoskill lets you turn them "on" so they auto attack whenever they are off their short cooldowns. Massive quality of life (wrist carpel-tunnel) improvement.

Should be able to do the command /autoskill and pick the skills you want to trigger.

Not having to hit backstab sounds great. I stopped playing my first toon here because of no autoskill. My wrists were killing me. Getting old.

The only characters I have that really would profit from this is my CLR/MNK/BER and PAL/MNK/BER but they still have spam abilites which are AA and Disc you still have to spam anyway.. So /shrug?

On my SHM/ROG/SK its only backstab so it was not a big deal since not that many buttons to push anyway on that class.

I think the biggest change is for Ranger IMO. Switching the melee auto attack key to bow is a great change.

Essentially, you have to take 5 minutes to setup new hotkeys and shit and actually interact with the UI. Most of them are so used to being able to click their pet attack button and watch Netflix that it's discombobulating them. Lot's of reeeeing in chat about, "WHY!?!? WHY CHANGE THIS!?! IT WORKED FINE BEFORE!!!!!".
