Yeah, imagine "attack power" as a gear stat was additive to all of your hits. Basically doubling them. With crit and skills like backstab and flurry further multiplying them.

Easier if you mean flags for luclin unlock Hardest part is done, Dozekar. If you mean Luclin to POP unlock, well they are a bit tougher. Especially Emp Sseru. Thats gonna be your cockblock. Need to get a bane weapon crafted, then have greater curse removal spell or POP clickey (He casts a 90% slow with a DD every minute). Not sure if you can purchase a bane weapon anymore since prob no one is doing luclin anymore. SO you gotta farm Ssra until a knight sword drops, then farm the named undead in the basement for a green looking gem to craft a bane weapon. You need to get a key to emps room, which is easy but takes some time farming shit. And so on... Rest of the luclin to pop unlocks are easy. Also not sure if 450AA is gonna cut it for emp. I would say at least 800AA-1KAA.

It would take forever, but depending on the gear he could kill emp just by spamming lifetap with symp strike. It’s how I killed emp the first time on SK/Wiz/Brd. The hits are going to be weaker with no wiz but the practice will be the same. It was extremely easy also, no bane needed
Fire dots land too. I killed him many times as sk/sham/rog just with fire dots and lifetaps.

This server is all about brute forcing raid content solo. And if you cant, you gear up more, or do more AA and try again until you succeed. Which means anything else, like small group or solo shit is is pretty much trivial for anyone. Im not sure what you are talking about here. You dont need mezz/charm/root/slow/shit, even heals for most content here.
The only real "melee" classes on this server which are the Cleric/monk/bezerker or the pally version of the same build are still one of the strongest builds and was one of the strongest for all of kunark velious and luclin. Show me an all caster setup that can smoke shit like sleeper in a minute. Then you have bulids like WAR/BST/CLR which are still "melee" but utilize spell power to scale procs and the bulid is insane. In fact most of the melee hybrid setups which utilize SP in POP are insane now that gear allows SP stacking along with Hdex/Hagi.

Yeah I mean I guess? Its only the one time you need to kill him anyway now that you wont be farming him for his shit. You still need to survive though, the slow/dd, stuns and hits pretty fucking hard. No sense not trying it.

IMO get someone that's done the leg work to help you kill Emp. Rest you can take out pretty easy. With the XP bonus would definitely recommend blasting out some AA's

What would yall suggest for leveling paths to get going? I blitzed through unrest from 16 to 25. (chain pulling red mobs is still just nutty to me) Server coming down, so off to take a break but where would yall suggest the next few places? (sham/cleric/necro) I was thinking maybe splitpaw and then the hole?

Could get someone to open Kunark for you. Which opens up a whole world of shit. I liked FM giants at that level. I actually stopped there and gathered some AA, because the money is that good there. From there I like Com till 50. Lots of money there too.

i'd recommend killing naggy/vox yourself, felt pretty good imo
for my first char i did crushbone -> unrest -> lguk at 29ish -> solb and the hole from 40 to 50, then grinded AAs in the hole. I do wish i stopped at 30ish to get some of the core AAs though
my current char: kurns -> unrest -> lguk :: stopped at 30, got around 120ish AAs because i could swarm the entire zone in 2 pulls -> dulak/nadox -> DN where i've now grinded like 1300 aas still sitting at lvl 56 lol

Fob > kurns to 16/17 > lguk to 30 for some AA, then I go different places based on boredom. Taking my new guy to veksar after lguk for example.

I leveled more than one non Pal character in CT prior to Kunark etc.. launching. Such a fun zone still. Highly recommend to someone new that hasn't got kunark + unlocked yet.

EC tunnel has merchants for melee discs, can click the campfire in bazaar to be ported there. The merchants aren't labelled so you will have to look through them all.
