Yep, exactly that. I had so much fun in original EQ / kunark / velious and blasting thru that because I'm overgeared feels a little shitty. Do we know when they're releasing SSF mode? I don't think I want to wait unless it's real soon. I just started playing a month or so ago and I'm still having a blast.
I mean, youre always going to be OP on this server no matter what. Youre essentially a raid boss when all geared out and AAed. Its the nature of having 3 classes together. For example if you roll anything with monk, they changed their kicks and punces to do damage based on the AC of the gloves and boots. So youre doing 100+ kick and punches at lv 1, if you find some boots and gloves with some AC lol. I know in SSf this will be harder, but still. I was kicking for 300-500 with some twink boots in blackburrow one shotting everything.
Oh yeah, I definitely like the OP part and soloability, I just don't want to make it overly trivial. I was expecting at least a little bit of a challenge from Trakanon at level 52.. I accidently pulled the whole room including tolapumj or whatever his name is and was still able to down everything at level 52. I did get about 400 aa's though.
Ahh that makes sense. This combo is strictly burst DPS, we have basically no sustained DPS. I wonder if its time to give my petcuck alt some more love.
The early stuff simply isn’t that hard. You’re gonna quickly hit some harder stuff though. Even decently twinked out.
YEah but a lot of that stuff is on par with Lucy gear, maybe 1 more stat or more hybrid. But the good shit is like 200K
There are some BiS or almost BiS items from Time that people sell the Enchanted version for WAY less than Legendary, and it can be a lot cheaper to buy 4 of them and level it up. I've done it with a few items.
Naw, outside of Earthen Bracers, Time drop prices are pretty cooked unless you get Legendaries that you can apply the petcuck tax to. Unfortunately for every 150-200k run you get in Time now, there's a 15-20k run you'll get soon after.
I haven't tracked my clear time since my first clear with this build and I've gone from luclin bis to pop bis since then but I know my Quarm takes about 6-7 minutes tops because he dies 1 bloodlust after my battle frenzy refreshes.
That's kind of the point of this server. Have fun blasting through expansions/content you never saw, reach a point where you're "done", just hop in for an hour or so a night to farm a few augs and then play other shit. Or do a PoTime run or two on the weekend and do the same.
I DW the whole time, riposte disc with first battle frenzy + divine avatar + vehement rage with 2 ethereal destroyers, once riposte ends I swap to holy hand + ethereal destroyer and I hit evasion disc to try to avoid more hits from the elementals and their slow proc(not sure this helps, but I do it just because it works in my head). I keep the 3 beastlord quick, frost nukes on cooldown and spam shield or cast heals as needed. Second battle frenzy goes with spirit frenzy + bestial alignment + the bestial fury disc, and I hit my purify and radiant cure + 1 or 2 shield clicks to at least get a few seconds of non slow dps while cooldowns are running.
