I wouldn’t go so far as to say triggered, but he definitely went overboard with responding to technicality in Smith's word choice or phrasing. In general they did a good bit of talking at each other vs actually discussing stuff.

If he had reframed the visit comment it would have been much more impactful. Of course it makes sense that going to see a place and talking to people is going to provide insight over whatever you can get from MSM/twitter/etc. No need to lord it over someone.

I’ll say that part of his problem is that accent, base snobbery starts +2

I like Dave’s consistency, and he’s usually decent at stating his arguments. I used to like Murray, but the last time I watched him he argued that Jewish people were more valuable than any other group in the world, and that if it came down to it, everyone else should be sacrificed to save them. This Israel / Palestine issue brings out the most retarded side of people. On twitter, I saw clips of the “never been to Israel” segment, with hoards of people saying Murray owned Smith, and that Smith was retarded. Then looked at the YouTube comments, which is overwhelmingly calling Murray an unqualified pompous ass.

Maybe I’ll try to listen to the whole thing mowing this weekend.
