My reasoning stands. From viewing posts on SM, I was not the only one confused at first and by the time I feel it is verified I have missed other important things being led astray.
Whoever the retard is further on down is a total Reddit fatty about it.

I mean yeah she was shot, she’s shown bleeding out, gives some death gurgles, Tommy looks on clearly giving the impression there’s nothing that can be done, she goes still and eyes stare blankly, Joel cries and yells and she clearly died on screen, BUT WHAT IF SHE WAS REVIVED BY A PASSING AMBULANCE WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN DRIVE BY RANDOM DITCHES???

Now I don’t really care about Sarah’s race swap since the actress did a great job and the character is the same, but they should have race swapped Marlene at the same time for the double switcheroo just to really fuck with the twitterbot outrage machine

Coming from someone that hasn't played the game and have pretty much no idea what the story even is...

Great episode, looking forward to more.
I didn't find it to be confusing at all.
I'm sure I missed a ton of easter eggs & in-game references which is the only thing that kinda sucks.

This is the new Remake. Last of Us:Remastered is 20 bucks on the PS store, included in the higher tier of PS Plus, and can probably be found used for less than that.

Remastered is the visual update they did of the PS3 version for PS4
Remake is the complete remake done in the TLoU2 engine and only came out a few months ago.

Only real nod to the game that I remember is that in the game when they were driving through the town, it’s a car that plows into them and not a plane that causes them to crash. In the show they had the car coming exactly like it was in the game, but at the last second they avoided it instead.

Went to the local used game store a few days ago and they had several copies of PS3 and PS4 Remastered for $8-10.

I didn't feel like replaying it but wanted to see the story again, so I found a good Let's Play with no annoying commentary:



He has the Left Behind DLC and Last of Us Part II also on his channel.

I never played the game much. The episode 1 is about as far as I ever went in the game. That being said the kid playing Joel's daughter was pretty adorable. Don't care she was mixed or black. The rest of the episode was fine. Elly was kind of annoying but kids usually are. Looking forward to more.

Surprisingly good. Actress playing Sarah was great... Bella Ramsey kind of sucks though. Nothing new here, but that face is just too weird. Basically all the casting/acting was great other than fucking Ellie.

i just remember saying thank god this isn't a shitty escort game where i have to save the bitch every 5mins from zombies

but at the same time bioshock 4 was released too and elizabeth was way better, she gave you ammo and coins and got the fuck out of the way!

Yahtzee made a good point about it’s better that you didn’t have to drag her around and keep saving her ass but if she’s not involved in anyway with the gameplay then why the hell is she even there?
