I was never down with The Sickness. I guess they had their Hay Day though. God damn Numetal early 00s.

I was definitely more into bands like Nothing face, Acid Bath, and Transport League.
Back then I was listening to the Big 4 but mostly to bands like Benediction and Monstrosity.

Nothing Face sounds a little familiar. Early 00's was a lot of melodic death metal type stuff for me, along with skate (and adjacent) punk that I started getting into during the mid 90's.

Yeah, same era. I had a buddy in college who was a big metalhead, and he turned me on to most of those bands, including In Flames. They actually have a really good cover of Deep Purple's Burn.

I just haven't listened to a lot of that stuff in eons. Honestly don't listen to that much metal anymore except for odd occasions. Doesn't mean I still don't enjoy it when I do though.

A buddy of mine shared this strange band called Electric Callboy with me. I'm describing it as a mix between EDM, Marilyn Manson & Ramstein. I'm digging it.

So because he shared that with me, I dug into them a little more. They actually did a track with BabyMetal, the Japanese band.

BabyMetal rules. I got a chance to see them live while I was in Japan back in 2018, but I passed on the concert because I was a tired bitch. I still really enjoy their stuff. This is off of their last album.

People still listen to that generic, music by numbers bullshit? Lol
Damn, no love but you guys like Korn?

All good. I was bit by the Sickness in a Sam Goody in 2000 and have never looked back.

What's up with Sleep Token, what's their whole shtick? Haven't really listened to much of their music. Appears the fans are Sleep Token or nothing else.

Y'all know I am a TOOL junkie, but I would never go around trying to explain the Fibonacci sequence to anyone. Because that person doesn't give a fuck, and, personally I just enjoy their music and I don't want them to get anymore popular. It's fucking insane with fucking merch. I am going to Sessanta on May 10th, Danny Carey's B Day. Only reason I know that, was my first TOOL show was on May 10th and we sang happy birthday and he treated us to some chocolate chips. ;) KRA KRA KRA KRA KRA KRA KRA TOOL is imho one of the greatest of all time, imho.
