I watched this, I wanted to give ‘leftist’ culture an honest chance.
The jokes are few and far between... it’s just really her being angry and hating on the world for having gone through some truly awful things. The laughter sounds canned and the some of the scenes where people are shown clapping/showing solidarity look out of place.
This was not made for me.
All I got out of it was that she had some shitty things happen to her by some shitty people and now blames all men for it because not all men understand what she went through. She would make her outrage speech and the audience would cheer but this wasn’t inisghtful or revealing, it was narcissistic, angry (intentionally), and ultimately nonsensical. Like I said, it was not made for me.
My wife hated it, not as much as me, and was offended by how anti-male the whole thing was.
2/10, a couple jokes made my wife laugh early on.

I haven't read or listened to anything more than what has been posted here, nor do I have any intention of watching what looks like literal shit, but do we even know any specifics about her "rapes"? I am not a rape-apologist or one that claims women deserve it or any of that shit, but we all know that the definition of rape has been shifted so far away from what it really is that I'm not just going to take her claims at face value. Rape is a horrible, horrible crime and I feel that true rapists should be immediately executed. But nowadays I can't even stand by my firm "anti-rape" stance anymore, because who the fuck knows what really happened and what they consider to be a rape?
There's a better than zero chance that anyone using rape as part of their "comedy act (????)" is stretching the truth a bit. Again, it is horrible if she were actually raped, and maybe this is how she deals with it, and if that's the case then I'll shut the fuck up. But I can't just #listenandbelieve anymore, because they've fucking ruined that now too.

She claims that age 17 she was brutally beaten by a man because she was a lesbian and states that that was his given reason and she claims to have been raped in her early twenties by a pair of men. I can only go by what she said in her special.
This was not a comedy special and I am not sure why anyone would claim it was, it was about as comedy as that episode of the Fresh Prince about his Dad except not as funny or as relatable. This was about outrage and anger, and blame.

Ultimately when I pay my money to go to a comedy show I expect to be entertained and to laugh. I'm not there to be your fucking therapist or listen to your lifes problems unless its done in a way to make me laugh. My life has its own hardships and I paid to have a night of fun and to forget all the bullshit for an evening. I would seriously want to punch in the face this comedian and anyone who suckered me into going to see her show.

I would 5.5/10 for at least being intellectually engaging. The anti-white man bit is safe and safe comedy is always hard.
It wasn't blue hair personified, but felt more like a ted talk that laid the obvious breadcrumbs. A couple of jokes I got a chuckle. The Picasso being a pedo thing kinda threw me, I guess I don't know enough about it nor do I care...didn't seem that bad besides obvious affair douchebag for the 20s?
