While this may not get appreciation in the coronavirus thread, here are some original thoughts that may be more of interest here
On our own world think of the issue we have of of white man introducing small pox to Indians with blankets. Or Chinese introducing covid to Americans etc. That is a trivial problem when trying to then integrate with human compatible species from different worlds. Really think of the issues a true multi world space port would have. Our airport equivalent of a fast food section would need to have establishments/offerings flagged for what species they are compatible with. Earth blow fish with all parts included but not for human consumption or you be dead!
Now think of all the immunizations needed... There are countries on Earth you can't travel to without shots... So think of galactic travel Yeah... now you need 100+ vaccines if you want to enter a galactic space station... So what would the governing entity of such a space station impose as a requirement to a new world that wants to participate in this community?
Criteria: Your species needs to eliminate the weaklings that have inferior genes where they die with just a few jabs. You have developed to a point where you are circumventing bad genetics with other remedies but you need to re-introduce elimination of inferior genetics. In order to integrate with the intergalactic community you need to develop to the point of being able to handle intensive therapies to withstand viruses that make your current world's viruses trivial issues to solve. In addition to compatibility with successfully receiving vaccinations without issue, your species also needs to develop to gain stronger natural immunity to infections.
So don't get vaxxed but don't die, good for you you get to help the generation that will be ready for intergalactic compatibility.

The BLM movement.. well that's a whole other topic but we failed that test for now. If we have disputes just for skin color no way we are ready to accept purple and green beings with a third nipple.
