So I watched The Kid Detective based on that review, but I recommend not watching that review before the movie. Movie was good. Mostly comedy, but got a bit dark too. I honestly didn't get Mike's comment about the ending though.

The review ruined a good amount of the comedic aspects though.

I kindof thought their review probably would spoil quite a bit.

Yeah, I thought it was good. From what the purpose of the new review series is, it sounds like they don't want to spoil anything, but it definitely does. Nothing major, but all of the jokes in the first 30 minutes were essentially covered.

And I pirated it, so uh, if that's not your thing then I don't know where to find it.

Glad I saw this thread before watching The Kid Detective review. Watched the movie, then watched the review. Recommend both!
