Does anyone else feel like this season is just off a bit? I know numerous people watching it and it feels like it has different writers, or lower budget, or something. It doesn’t seem as smart as previous seasons.

Yeah the whole gay romance is really off putting.

Ambiguously gay buddy = funny.

Full on homo romance = do not even want this shit in my house. I'm afraid my tv is going to give me aids. Not funny. Just off putting and annoying.

I felt this way as well. Almost like its trying too hard or something.

I think it's the opposite. It's all personal problems and the kids breaking out from under their dads wings. And there isn't some Heist/Murder B plot running throughout. The first seasons were way more ridiculous, the characters themselves are just tuned up because that's what always happens with shows. Just look at shit like Season 1 Dennis or Frank from Sunny and Season 12 Dennis or Frank. Caricatures of themselves.
