I generally play Fashion Souls, but I think I started out with the Alva set when it became available. Pretty good stats and low weight. Never cared for the drangleic sword, forget why though. Maybe weight, but my prized mastodon greatsword is pretty heavy too.I just got the drangleic sword, shield and full armor set and used that for 90% of the game
If you want a fast weapon with good range, there's a Fire-enchanted longsword you can get very early in the game. (Longswords are DEX weapons.)Ok, so range issues will go away. Right now, I'm early enough in the game, that I'm just level 11, and have a Bandit Knife, or maybe it was Bandit Dagger. So I understand the range issues, but it's fast, which I liked. Took 11 Dex to wield it, and the rest have gone into ADP to get to that magic 20 Kriptini was talking about.
Yeah, the Drangleic Sword is actually a greatsword, and a pretty average one at that. My first playthrough was a Paladin build. I used a Mace and the Drangleic Armor + Shield, as well as the Cleric's Sacred Chime for Zeus bolts.I generally play Fashion Souls, but I think I started out with the Alva set when it became available. Crushing is OP in Dark Souls 2, and the other weapon types are a little bit underpowered. From Soft screwed up there.I just really liked it's moveset. I replaced it with a mastodon sword and actually used a large club +10 for bosses
I was, 18 pages ago.(Also why is nobody talking about Undertale?)
Why would you do that? You've already ruined most of the game for yourself. =/I want to play it, watched a pacifist playthrough a few weeks back
Waiting for winter sale to buy it, it'll probably be on sale for like 15-25% I assume so no point in buying it now when the sale is so close.
I suppose. It's worth the $10, though. Best RPG I've played this year. Hell, best RPG I've played in a few years.Yeah I'll still wait, if it's not it's not, whatever. I don't have a reason to play it NOW anyway.
I have a pretty easy time compartmentalizing viewing a playthrough and doing it myself. It just hasn't ever been an issue. I try to avoid doing that with major releases that I really want to go blind in to, mostly because I know I'll be playing then on day 1. Since this was an indie game I had not heard about, and I like the streamer I just kind of got sucked in. She actually tried to voice act all the characters. But it was like 3am while I was playing DOTA and realistically only saw / understood like 20% of what was going on.Why would you do that? You've already ruined most of the game for yourself. =/
Those speedrun vids are really demoralizing because the ease with which they blitz through the game tends to obscure just how good those players are.Meh I watched speed runs of dark souls 1 before I played it and nothing was ruined for me. I was absolutely terrible at it.
We're talking about Undertale. Everything after the first five minutes of the game is spoiler territory, and the narrative is probably the best part of the game.Meh I watched speed runs of dark souls 1 before I played it and nothing was ruined for me. I was absolutely terrible at it.
