You know I play in 10 hour bursts. If you really don't like using someone, the overnight training thing works well to keep them from falling too far behind (if you aren't playing the game in like 10 hour bursts).
RoF is fucking awesome.Hmmm, have you played Resonance of Fate or Valkyria Chronicles? They seem kinda like what you're looking for.
Grim Dawn if you can do PC game. Great ARPG, in early access for about another month but it's got a ton of content and farmability alreadySuggestions for a 2nd game to play along with Dark Souls. Sometimes, I want to play a game, but not something so "dark". lol...
Action RPG preferred, but not Diablo, as I've played that to death. Can have turn based combat, but not turn based moving if that makes sense. D5 movement is what I don't want. Bravely Default on 3DS is turn based and acceptable though. Any suggestions?
Sounds like Shadows of Mordor! That game was pretty freakin' sweet! I 100% that game, because it was so fun once you had all your OP combat abilities.Yeah definitely a thumbs up for Dragon's Dogma. I put a shitload of hours into the ps3 version, it has easily one of the most engaging overworlds in recent memory, and has no real barrier to keep you out of high end areas right from the getgo. Granted, you'll want to beat the base game first to open up all the other cool shit, but there's a lot of stuff to do and it is really fun. Climbing monsters to stab them in the face never gets old, really.
I bought this used like a year ago and still haven't played it, but man the word of mouth is both intense and effusive with this one. I got bored while taking a shit the other day and went to Gamefaqs on my phone without any explicit intention to look at anything there and was surprised to notice DD was I think #1 on the most active PS3 forums, and it's not like the PS3 is dated on that site - there exist active forums for games on far older hardware.Yeah definitely a thumbs up for Dragon's Dogma. I am currently playing it and I am not finding it to be that great. The Captains get repetitive and the only reason to kill mooks is to get information about captains.Sounds like Shadows of Mordor! I had a lot of fun just killing. I'd walk into a orc base and ring a bell, and see how long I could go. It was just really fun killing. Popping orc heads and things. I think also it was so satisfying because in the beginning I died a lot from being a noob and not having all the cool killing abilities, and then to grow into a killing machine was nice. I didn't mind the story either.I am currently playing it and I am not finding it to be that great. The Captains get repetitive and the only reason to kill mooks is to get information about captains.
