Apparently the company that made them censored profanity with no way to change it. Why?!
I'm really curious how these would work in the real world. For example the little girl. She has multiple people in that room. How do those glasses work when multiple people are talking?
Also, do they offer lenses for those that have prescriptions?
The thing is though. Thats like a double whammy. I was around Jets, Helicopters etc. 12 hours a day in the military. From the tower to Tarmac. I can still have a normal conversation, but I cant hear or make out what the fuck Mumblers are saying. They piss me off to no end. One of the girls that works with the girl Im seeing mumbles a lot and at this point, I already know what shes saying. But for fucks sake... So I already have a good idea of how frustrating it must be to be completely deaf. Then, to turn around and curse my existence with subtitles and.. I have no idea who is talking... (screams into the void) But I am happy for the little girl. I am sure its a wonderful advancement, regardless.
