Place was epic. The owners method of testing new rides though was to ask employees to volunteer, and if you did you would get a crisp new $100 bill. Visited this place no less than 10 times in my life, and I kid you not there was at least 2-3 kids stretchered off, and whisked away by ambulance. That's not counting kids that had skin scraped off their bodies from the Alpine slide.

It got so bad with injuries there the town had to build a hospital close to the park. If that park opened today, it would be shuttered within a week. It's truly amazing this park stayed open as long as it did.

Alice in Chains showed up one year to do a Headbangers Ball episode. Fuck I miss that band.
