Does 'Wushu' translate roughly into 'Aiming to miss'? It's kinda impressive, I guess. I mean the speed they move at is pretty fast but otherwise it's just a choreographed dance. When you watch the slow-mo portion, it has the opposite intended effect of making it more amazing by showing all of the spear jabs; they would have missed whether the girl in yellow moved or not. And yeah all fight scenes in movies and tv seem to borrow this style of dance, which is probably why they always look fake as shit to me.

He keeps trying to make his poor contestants cook a perfect beef wellington that I had to go out and try it... and yeah, it was pretty fucking good. I could see why it's easy to fuck up tho; my dumbass sister-in-law orders her steaks well-done and so of course the pastry was near-burnt.

Ray Park is the worst example of wushu, mainly b/c he's white and just sucks at it, he got to play darth maul b/c Star Wars is historically anti-asian, i mean why else would they use a fucking fencing guy to choreo those horrible fight scenes
