Fireworks or at least that's my guess, especially around this time of year. Randoms buy fireworks and then use them randomly after not getting them all gone on the first. Fireworks being illegal doesn't even matter anywhere in the US, they were illegal for ALL of my life in Cali and every year people would have a ton of fireworks.

sounds more like fireworks to me unless you literally have a shoot-out going on nearby, which COULD be the case since the sirens.

yea it was the sirens that threw me off to think shootout, not common where i live at all though
