I wish I could get the hang of snowboarding. I've tried a handful of times, but always wind up banging up my knees and wrists. I can't go toe-side. Anytime I do, I dig the front edge in too much and just smack right down into the snow. Next time I go skiing I'll probably try again, and inevitably wind up back on skis after a couple hours. One of my buddies (who I've not gone skiing with) suggested that I need to try to "sit down" a little further to try and center my gravity better when going toe-side.
