Szekesfehervar, Hungary (September 10, 2023) T-28 trojan crashes during an airshow, killing two, injuring four.

Today, at Szekesfehervar-Bergond airport, a T-28A Trojan flown by dad and son (67/37) crashed and exploded right next to a car. The car -according to the eyewitnesses and the pictures of the police - (see below) may have been parked in to a prohibited area, close to the RWY.

In the car, a family of 4 were injured, from which 3 (dad, mom , little daughter) were transported to the hospital with 3 helicopters, with serious (II/III degree) burns, their young son suffered minor injuries. Official cause unknown, well, judging by the footage, it will be pilot error. The aircraft itself has quite long history, and it got its Hungarian registration 2 yrs ago.
