I prefer to think it's like the animal rescue videos in reverse, but this would be an animal snuff film reversed to look like a rescue.
The guy had a cat with 2 kittens, gives it poison out of a syringe, watch it turn feeble, check it's vitals to make sure it's dying, drops it off on the side of the road, pokes its eyes a few times to make sure it's dead, then puts the kittens there to leave them all.
