all 10 episodes are out on peacock, looks like I picked a bad time to do a Lost rewatch

it is run/directed by Roland Emmerich - Stargate, Independence Day, Stargate Atlantis, etc - so probably fun but cheesy. i'll get around to it some day, i mean who doesn't love roman gladiator shit (women)

First episode was interesting. CGI is a little sub par but whatever it's a tv show. Definitely a setup episode so nothing too crazy. Also some nice titties and ass.

Looking forward to this one, but the rap music in the trailer kinda ruins in just like it did with Gladiator 2's trailer.

It's absolute piffle. I won't watch beyond ep1, the acting is awful, the CGI is awful, the sets are crap, and it's just not very good. Rome was a million times better.

Ya this is pretty bad after 1 episode. Awful CGI and acting. The writing is hilariously bad.

"Rome is better" and "it ain't no Spartacus" aren't exactly compelling comparisons. Those are two high standards for different reasons.

After 4 episodes in this is just ok. Like a 6/10. I like they focus on the circus maximus and chariot racing since that was more popular then gladiator fights in Rome. Some cool fights and racing. nice titties and ass but too much gay also. Historical accuracy like 4/10. They are leaving some controversial stuff out. watch if you are just looking for something to watch but don't go out of your way to watch it.

Last half is better then the first. Problem is the first half isn't that good so people won't get to the second half. I only have 2 episodes to go and it looks like they are setting up the inaugural day of the coliseum. Problem is that gladiator battle was pretty epic and they are changing history.

OK finished the season. Final episode was about as fake and gay as you can get. If you are going to use actual historical figures and events at least come close to being how it was.
