Yeah, I've downloaded tons of stuff from both public and private trackers, including lots of uploading, and I haven't got shit from my ISP about anything. That whole new law they put into effect was nothing more then a scare tactic, much like with everything else regarding the internet and legality.
The only ISP I have received warnings from was Cox, and even if I got one every month, all I had to do was call them and they would turn my internet right back on. It's all bull shit. They just want to scare you, when realistically they can't do shit unless you're like the Don Corleone of uploading screeners.

what would be a consequence from seeding a torrent more than you have to? I am seeding like there is nothing tomorrow...

They only really target people seeding (i.e. giving multiple copies of it away for free), not the people downloading (stealing one copy), so the longer you seed, the more likely you would be caught if they chose to target a particular torrent. If you're worried about that sort of thing.
Can anyone find a copy of Barbara Minto's Pyramid Principle anywhere?

As usual, looking for a site that has good range of books/tutorials/etc. IPT has really fallen off lately in that regards, and just have a hard time finding books on topics that interest me. There was a public russian site listed on the old FOH thread, but I didn't like it.

Careful about giving out invites in the open on the forum. RevoTT banned me (and every single person I'd invited, from here and from elsewhere) for doing exactly that after finding my posts here. They told me I was "trading invites". Even though I was doing no such thing, they don't give a shit. IPT may be the same way, who knows.

In case anyone is having trouble with ratio on IPT...
simplest way to fix that is to exploit their points system. Sort torrents by size... go to the last page download a bunch of the smallest torrents you can find and seed them... you get points per torrent seeded per hour...
Exchange points for upload credit.

Thanks to all for tips provided. Whatbox is amazing if used properly. Grabbed a few free dls that seemed popular, then grabbed a movie that by itself has a 27:1 ratio. Picked a few others for ratios sake, and then grabbed some things I actually wanted.
So.. apparently Demonoid is coming back?
