That's all I do now. Once in a while, haven't done this in a long time now though, I would grab a porn torrent with a ton of movies in it, select a few, and then let it seed for a few weeks. This gave me a ton of ratio so I never had to worry about it again.

No kidding. I mean, I get seed boxes if your ISP is data capping the shit out of you. But I just seed like normal from home and have something crazy like 7TB of upload and 11k bonus points. I pretty much exclusively download 1080p free leach movies in the 10-20gb per file range.

All depends on your connection though. I observed my upload go to shit after my upload went from 30 to less than 10. I'd download a game of thrones episode the second it came up and I'd still not get back to positive ratio on it.

Only thing I can think is that it just uses the best connections until someone's download is capped and so bad upload connections never get picked? I don't know.

I have mine set to upload at like 125KB/sec only and have like 50+ torrents seeded and it sits there maxed at 125KB/sec 24/7.

Then I don't know what's wrong. Using deluge client and upload is set to unlimited, and I get shit for upload. Could be unpopular torrents I'm currently seeding but as said I still never got very good upload even on super popular things.

You won't necessarily get a lot of upload on popular things if there's like 2000 seeders. You just sort of have to let those sit they'll build up a lot over time. If it's a TV series or some kind of movie or porn pack it'll get you a bunch of upload. I've gotten like 2 TB of upload on Band of Brothers and my upload caps at less than 1 Mb/s, I've just had that torrent for a couple of years.

Yep, individual episodes do not usually seed for shit. My big earners are entire season packs of popular shows like Breaking Bad, Top Gear UK, Game of Thrones, etc. These have been seeding for years on my account.

I agree with you. I guess my point was that when my upload speeds dropped, so did my ratios. I used to have a ratio over 5, because I was able to upload a ton through just 1 season of game of thrones. Now, time is more important than anything, as I can't hop in when a torrent is fresh and expect anything. I used to be able too.

Like I said in my other post. If you want to build ratio, the best way to do it is via freeleech. Put an X on freeleech and hit search. Watch for something like a porn pack or something people will want to hit in the last 30m or so. Then grab it and seed. Do that x 10 and you'll be swimming in ratio.

The other thing is make sure deluge is actually seeding stuff back. There are 2 or 3 sections that you can limit upload speed, active torrents and total actives torrents if I'm not mistaken the default values there can be on the low side. Double check in settings.

Your ISP can throttle the shit out of your upload on torrent traffic if you aren't masking it with a vpn / socks5 proxy.

Is it worth it to get TVT and start seeding things they don't have from stuff I download via BTN?

Does anyone use TVT and Sonarr? If it supports search in their API then I might seed on that site as well to ensure I always have a backup because as amazing as BTN is they do have some random downtimes.
