I just don't understand it from either side.
If a viewer wants to see tits and body art, it isn't like that is a lack of variety on the internet, free and live.
If a streamer wants to diddle on her tits all day, it isn't like there is a lack of sites and places that allow it without risk and plenty of money to do so.
The only things that I can come up with are, the viewers are age blocked/restricted elsewhere and the streamers lack enough personality/talent to survive elsewhere.

Its because thots arent selling just nudity or risque images. They are selling a girlfriendesque experience of doing cute girly things and giving some amount of personal attention/affection to the legion of neckbeard Sean like creatures who could never hope to get a woman who isnt morbidly obese or have 5 kids from 5 different dudes.
IMO it says an awful lot about how dysfunctional society is becoming that this dynamic exists.

I guess that is why I remain confused on it all.
I've seen very few twitch bitches I would even say hello too, let alone dream about dating.
Most of them have only one decent quality and it isn't THAT hard to find decent looking women you wouldn't have to pay thousands of dollars and travel the nation for assuming you even got that far.
Either the world is now full of ugly as fuck no nut men or the world is full of no nut men who have never left the basement.
I'm no model but I am very confident I could go out and pick up a attractive date in a normal non quarantine day but I've never had an issue talking to people I didn't know.
It's as simple as saying hello or asking their opinion of something in a store. Then again for the past 25 years I haven't needed to go beyond that either.

Millions of people watch twitch every second, and it's really easy to support someone on twitch. There are no weird porn ads popping up when you click things and everything is so seamless. The tube/hub sites are much different.

The psychology aspect is easily explained: A woman you like is always going to be more engaging and desirable than random_chick00. Twitch makes it easy to raise you above the random and create the illusion of “friendship”/knowing someone. This goes for any streamer, be it THOT or Pro-Gamer.
